MFD series

The motor with iron core is mounted on a row of magnetic rails. The motor with iron core is formed by wrapping copper windings around the iron core. The iron sheet on the back provides an efficient channel for magnetic flux, which can make it circulate between the motor and the magnetic track. In addition, there is a channel to ensure the efficient heat dissipation of the motor. This kind of core structure can produce great force and achieve high efficiency cooling function. In fact, the core structure makes each element have the greatest force. The iron core structure is an economical scheme because only a row of rare earth permanent magnets is needed.
The advantages of cored motors:
1. The force per unit size is very large, because the magnetic field is gathered by using iron cores.
2. Lower cost, using only one row of magnets
3. Good heat dissipation performance, because the use of iron core, the surface area is very large, so it is easy to heat dissipation.
Disadvantage of Cored Motor
1. The attraction between the stator and the stator is 5-13 times the thrust generated by the motor, which makes it difficult to install.
2. Alveolar effect, which limits the stationarity of motion and results in velocity fluctuation
3. The mover is heavier because of the iron core.
