The right figure is a commonly used linear motor platform. The feedback system adopts open metal grating and the guidance system adopts precise linear guide rail. With linear motor and other accessories the platform of linear motor is formed by precise assembly. In the figure you can see part of the feedback system - grating ruler guiding system - Guide rail and the stator of the motor that is the magnet part. The user's load is fixed on the loading board. The anti-collision block can prevent the mover from flying out when the motor is out of control and protect the safety of the user's personnel and property.
Remove the load plate and you can see the internal structure of the linear motor platform as follows.

In the figure you can see the moving part of the motor that is the coil. The coil is connected with the load plate in the left figure which is supported by the slider of the guide rail. In this way the coil of the motor and the magnet can be kept in non-contact and the weight of the load is borne by the guide rail. The grating reading head which is part of the feedback system is also fixed with the coil and moves with the load to accurately feedback the position information of the load. In addition the linear motor also needs a certain precision of the bottom plate to fix the motor guide rail and paste gratings. The gap between coil and magnetic steel the installation precision of guide rail and the installation of grating system all need good assembly technology to ensure. Linear motor platform will also have limited switch Hall and other accessories which will not be introduced here.
