Working principle
The main components of precision air-bearing positioning platform including base guide rail air-bearing slider and roof are driven by linear motor. The suspension working principle of the positioning platform is that compressed air with a certain air pressure is introduced into the air supply channel. The gas passes through the throttle hole to form a gas film of about 10 micron in the opposite surface of the air-bearing slider and the guide rail and the base and produces a certain suspension force. The sliding platform composed of the air-bearing slider and the roof is in one-dimensional linear motion. When the suspension force is balanced with the weight of the experimental platform the moving platform will move in a straight line. Stable suspension. When the air-bearing slider as the load of the system changes or has external disturbance the system itself achieves rebalancing by changing the gap between the air-bearing slider and the guide rail to change the suspension force; it has certain self-regulating ability.
